The BLS Instructor-led course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on High-Quality CPR and team dynamics.


  • The American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers course is designed to teach healthcare professionals the skills of one- and two-rescuer CPR for victims of all ages, use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of choking.

  • Upon successful completion of post-test and skills demonstration, students will receive their AHA Healthcare Provider course completion card which is valid for two years. Course length varies between 3.5-4 hours.

  •  Card Issued: Within 20 days of completion of course.
